Networks1st Update: Friday 5th March 2010Senscot is currently working with the Scottish Prison Services (SPS) to develop a broader understanding of the opportunity for social enterprise in connection with Scotland's prisons. We're just at the starting gates with an event taking place in May to bring together social enterprises with an interest in this area with Governors and senior SPS officials in charge of policy and development. Mel Young has kindly agreed to chair the event. We are keen to hear from any social enterprises who already have experience of working with prisons. We attended a similar event in London this week and have a few ideas for initiatives that could be explored in Scotland as well....more
