Mind’s Well’s aim is to reduce the need for people to resort to self-harming behaviours such as drug and alcohol abuse, eating problems, self-medication, self-injury and other such behaviours.


Bad Idea

Anthony Gerrard’s mantra is “there is no such thing as a bad idea”. After overcoming a chaotic background, growing up in poverty and becoming homeless at 18 Anthony put himself through college and university and then went on to set up his own company - Bad Idea.


Greyfriars Tartan

The Grassmarket Community Project (GCP) was recently awarded a grant from the Enterprise Ready Fund to develop Greyfriars Tartan which was designed in 2011 by project participant Paul Moffat, inspired by the history of Greyfriars Kirk and the Grassmarket. 


Bodysurf Scotland

Established dance artists Karl Jay-Lewin and Deborah Jay-Lewin launched Bodysurf Scotland in 2003, inspired by the setting of Findhorn Bay and the belief that the locally based arts facilities would provide the perfect venue for which to promote dance to both a national and international audience
