Recyke-a-bike

Recyke-a-bike was set in motion in June 2006.  Developed by Fallin Community Enterprises, the main objectives were to reduce the impact of waste on the environment and to provide employment and training opportunities within the Fallin area.

Still going strong today, the project reconditions donated and waste bicycles selling them back to the community at a low cost.  They have a fully operating repair workshop with an experienced team of bicycle mechanics building bikes for the shop and repairing bikes for our customers.

Today they work with 4 local councils and have training workshops set up in Stirling, Alloa and Falkirk.

Fallin Community Enterprises are currently in negotiation with Stirling Council about a proposed re-use centre at Polmaise Recycling Centre.  This re-use centre will have a store for unwanted furniture and bric-a-brac and a shop to sell these goods.
