Newbold House is a beautifully maintained Victorian mansion in the north-east of Scotland, dedicated to wellbeing.
They are a transformative retreat space and workshop venue with a range of excellent educational courses about living sustainably, personal evolution and nature connection.
Newbold House is a community of people from different walks of life who share a common vision for Newbold’s aims, values and services. The community comprises of a residential core staff group, paying guests, committed volunteers from Forres and the surrounding area and WWOOFers (World Wide Opportunities in Organic farms, www.wwoof.org).
They offer a range of experiences and programs including a community guest program
and seasonal gardening courses run by highly experienced organic gardener Christopher Raymont and expert ornamental gardener Lorenzo Zuccolotto.
A Flavour of Newbold
The house is available for hire as a workshop venue and bed and breakfast accommodation is also on offer. They provide full catering facilities, producing the best quality organic food from their own gardens and other local producers.
Newbold are forming partnerships with individuals and organisations that are able to provide a broad range of educational experiences in many aspects of sustainability ranging from conservation and ecology to conflict resolution and non-violent communication.
Newbold are part of the wider Findhorn Foundation Community, which includes many organisations and individuals held under the umbrella of the New Findhorn Association
A Retreat Space
Newbold offers space to escape, recharge and replenish with a selection of treatments and experiences.
A Workshop Venue
A workshop venue is also available at Newbold – you can hold your workshop, meeting or gathering in the beautiful Victorian house. A business group conference in a ballroom overlooking ornamental gardens can only be conducive to a good atmosphere! Also, what could be better than a walk around the organic gardens after your meeting...and to know that lunch came from that very garden.
