The Wood Cooperative
The Wood Cooperative is an exciting collaboration between five of Glasgow's best known social enterprises - bringing together traditional craft and recycling with design and cutting edge technology. As The Wood Cooperative, the intention will be to take on projects that might be outside the scope of any of the individual members. Their range of services means that they can design and build using both recycled and storm felled timber.
Members have expertise in a broad range of skills and services and the believe that,together, they can deliver large scale high quality projects.

GalGael is all about traditional craft from boat building to the sourcing of Scottish hardwood timber.
MAKLab provides open access to cutting edge technologies such as 3D printing and CNC routing machines.
Glasgow Wood Recycling specialise in the re-use of reclaimed timber to make a wide range of garden and indoor furniture.
TOG are a design and build studio with a focus on community building.
The Coach House Trust work with wood and refuse recycling.
The Wood Co-operative provides a wide range of training across all of their Glasgow facilities. Whether you want to try 3D printing, boat building or making your own jewellery they will have something that'll meet your needs. Much of what is on offer is either subsidised or free.
