Long Term Sustainability Art’n’Mind Capital Development
Art’n’Mind has aspirations to become a cultural focus and important venue on the Forth Valley tourist map. In addition to supporting established creative business, they also aim to provide resource and know-how to aspiring makers in the area.
To further develop their social enterprise, Art’n’Mind secured Capital funding from Creative Scotland Investment Programme October 2012. ‘To enhance and develop The Makers Village establishing an eclectic cultural hub of bespoke studios, gallery and performance space to engage with the local community, enabling shared resources and business mentoring for local aspiring artists and craft makers’.
The project was seen as a further part of the journey, securing the long term viability of the charity and its use of the site as its main operating location.
