Kilted Lobster

Nestled in the heart of Stockbridge, Kilted Lobster is first and foremost a seafood restaurant serving up delicious seafood dishes but also has a social conscience. Through their 'Cooking Up a Storm' Projects they provide training and cooking lessons helping people across Edinburgh.

Cooking Up  A Storm believes in influencing and supporting our community, our city and our country through simple and practical projects.
All profits from the restaurant will go towards funding these projects and they will be piloting the following projects over the next coming months:

·         Workplace & job training for school leavers and individuals with barriers to work

·         "Meal Banks" where we invite families and individuals facing financial hardship to complimentary dine with us

·         Cookery classes for single parent families wishing to learn how to cook inspiring healthy & nutritious food on a budget

·         Cookery classes for individuals diagnosed with food related health conditions such as diabetes or food allergens.

Kilted Lobster is working in partnership with The Princes Trust, the Job Centre and Queen Margaret University.

If you or anyone you know would benefit from their projects – please get in touch at kiltedlobster@yahoo.co.uk  or on Facebook/CookingUpaStorm
