Takeaway Creative is an innovative service based in Argyll & Bute, started by Fiona page after she was unable to find quality home activities for her housebound mum. Takeaway Creative is supported by an advisory board including a mental health specialist and creative development practitioners with extensive experience of working in new areas across social boundaries.
Have you ever wanted to try a new hobby but cannot get to a class, find a professional tutor or discover that what is available doesn’t meet your needs? Takeaway Creative is a new service and offers a range of activities to enjoy at home.
All their practitioners are qualified and experienced in their field and have PVG clearance, public liability insurance and equipment to deliver the sessions.
Their service can help you enjoy hobbies at home for a wide variety of reasons such as mobility, caring responsibilities or access to hobbies via a more tailored, personal and flexible approach.
The service is particularly suited for people over 60 who would like to learn new skills at their own pace and may have difficulties in getting access to local services.
Whatever your circumstances Takeaway Creative can help you discover and enjoy a range of activities. All materials are included and sessions normally last about1 ½ to 2 hours.
To book a session or if you are interested and would like to know more, all you need to do is call or mail for a confidential chat.
