Profiles Links is the exciting Youth Initiative and Internet café for young people living in the communities of Cumnock and Doon Valley. offers many exciting activities to young people aged 10 - 25 years. We have an excellent state of the art Cyber suite, a recreation room with pool tables, a juke box, Dreamcast and Playstation consoles and a café area.


Our main aim is to increase the personal development of young people by offering a wide range of activities to suit everyone. These include Music editing, drama, hip hop dancing, mountain biking, camping, games, enterprise groups, girls groups, trips and visits, Computers and the Internet including software games for everyone to enjoy. Assistance with job applications, c.v.'s, covering letters, housing applications, job applications, career advice and applications to colleges and universities. has exciting news for all young people aged 10 to 25 years living in the Doon Valley Communities. Those of you living in the villages of Bellsbank, Dalmellington, Dalrymple, Drongan, Ochiltree, Patna, Rankinston and Waterside will soon have the benefit of our amazing Project!


Kerry McGee previously a Project Worker at has been appointed as a Development Worker for your area and she looks forward to working in partnership with other agencies to provide a range of organised activities for young people aged 10 to 25 years living in the Doon Valley. These activities will take place in your local community at the times you need them most - evenings, weekends and school holidays.


Kerry hopes to visit local schools very soon to provide you with information on what she'll be doing, so look out for her and let her know what sort of activities you'd like to become involved in. She can't wait to meet you all! Kerry also intends bring groups of young people to the premises in Cumnock to give you a chance to sample the wide range of activities there and meet the friendly staff.


"ASK ALEX" is a free confidential drug information,advice and online counselling service provided via the website. "ASK ALEX" can be found on the homepage and is available to the young people of the south of East Ayrshire and their parents and carers. Alex aims to answer all queries within 72 hours. Free Internet access is available at, East Ayrshire Community Libraries and Learning Centres.


East Ayrshire Council Community Libraries and Lending services are working in partnership with to provide a mini library service for junior and senior service-users. has endeavoured in recent years to produce fun, interactive educational packs for group work purposes. The packs that have been produced to date have been in popular demand from local services and schools. Due to this response we would like to offer these packs to youth services throughout Scotland.
