PrintAbility rebrands to ‘send-it’ after 8 years

Printability is to re-brand itself as a fulfilment solutions company after recognising a niche in the digital market by offering internet retailers fulfilment solutions. Later this month Printability will become ‘Send-it, fulfilment solutions’, after eight years of trading under its current name.

Send-it will be the only mailing house in Grampian which offers printing, mailing and fulfilment solutions to businesses across all sectors.   The internet service has steadily grown over the last two years with more and more people shopping for goods online.

Commenting on the new image, Jenny Thomson, Social Enterprise Manager, said:  “The fulfilment side of the business has really taken off.  Enquiries have soared over the past couple of years and it was felt that the former name didn’t reflect the new offering.  It is essential for Send-it to get the right message across and to capitalise on the interest that is there.  The new image will help us evolve the business commercially and become more sustainable, inadvertently allowing us to continue to support people with who are disadvantaged in the workplace.”

Operating from its premises in John Street, Aberdeen, Send-it will continue to run as a social enterprise and provide placements and training to around 20 adults who are disadvantaged from mainstream employment and recovering from mental health problems. In addition to its well documented social agenda, Send-it endeavours to find more ways to help the environment by recycling where possible and providing awareness training for all those who use the service.

Send-it owes its continued success to gaining an excellent reputation for delivering a reliable, flexible and efficient service to its clients.  It has over 75 clients on its books and operates nationwide, with clients coming from as far afield as Wales. Some of its clients include the Chamber of Commerce, NHS Grampian and Aberdeen Performing Arts. Its e-fulfilment services have seen a number of unusual dispatches over the years, including safety pins, rubber bands, chocolates and pens.
