Castlemilk Childcare

Castlemilk Childcare provides a range of childcare facilities to meet the needs of  parent and children in the Castlemilk community. They employ a team of qualified, experienced staff who work closely together to ensure you receive the best quality childcare whichever service you need. They offer Early Years Day Care for children 6 weeks to 5 years within our 2 full day care nurseries, Out of School Care for school age children based in 3 Castlemilk Primary Schools along with a Mobile Childcare Facility providing a transferable service for training, education, conferences, etc.

They are a business with social objectives with our roots embedded in the community. Supported and part funded by Glasgow City Council, they operate as a social enterprise [registered charity and Company Limited by Guarantee] which means all their income goes directly into the organisation, and in turn into the community.

Quality

Their staff team receive regular on-going training and are encouraged to undertake the latest nationally recognised qualifications. All contracted childcare staff are registered or in the process of registering with the SSSC. As an organisation they are registered and inspected by the Care Commission under the Regulation of Care [Scotland] Act 2001.

Vision

Their ambition is to create and deliver a full childcare service in a range of settings for children & young people from 6 weeks – 16years.
