Notes about community enterprise are full of details that turn out to be wrong or go out of date: the year a shop changed hands, the size of a share offer, the name of a fund that was later merged into another. When you spot one, say which piece it is in and what the right detail is, and point to where it can be checked, such as a council minute, a register entry or a published report. A mistake that is confirmed is put right on the page.
Closemouth is not an advice service. It cannot help set up a co-operative, apply for a grant, sort out a debt or settle a dispute with a landlord or an employer. For those, a Citizens Advice office, a local council or the regulator concerned is the place to start.
The site has no form. Answers come when they can, with no fixed timescale, and a sender’s email address serves only to answer that message, as the privacy page sets out.
